Last month was me being idled. Now, it’s already reaching the 8th month of 2018, which is August. In here Indonesia, we usually loved this month because we celebrate our independence day on august 17th.
It’s beginning of August so I really want to be active as I been before. Now I am gonna share my review about Benton’s latest product which they had sent to me, Snail Bee Ultimate Serum.

FYI, my skin type is acne prone and oily skin. I also have acne scars, so if you have the same struggle like me, please keep on reading.
I was interested to try this serum because I saw the post on Benton’s SNS and it stated that, the serum contains snail secretion filtrate, tea tree, and also niacinamide.
As far as I know, snail is a very good ingredient to fades acne scars, and also for wrinkle care.
Meanwhile tea tree is good for those of you who have acne prone skin type because it can heal your acne. one that catches my attention these days, Niacinamide. Niacinamide is known as a brightening ingredient.
Amazing! In short, this serum is a really all in one solution for those of you who have acne prone and oily skin!
Packaging
I am pretty amazed with the packaging, it looks minimalist. Dominated with brown color, it gives me a calming earth tone vibe. The packaging is pretty transparent, so we can check how much the serum left.
O ya, this serum have a dropper as the applicator. It makes me feel more hygienic to use!
Texture
The texture of this serum is rather light weight serum; I can feel this serum hydrating my skin as soon as I tried on my hands. After I applied on my hand, I feel my skin is moisturized and definitely not sticky at all. Oh ya, this serum absorbs fast on my skin. So I think people with oily skin type would like this serum!
Scent
Fortunately, I don’t find any fragrance in this serum. So you guys who have sensitive skin would be able to use this serum.
How to use
After toning apply a suitable amount using the dropper and evenly spread on your face. Softly pat until fully absorbed.
Oh ya, please take a suitable amount for your face, because for me 1 pump is already enough for my entire face. Hehehe.

Explanation about the ingredients
Saccharomyces/Snail Secretion FiltrateFerment Filtrate: Snails are known for their ability to heal quickly when injured. This is because their secretion contains components helping with moisturizing (allantoin), oil-water balance (gluconic acid), skin elasticity (collagen, elastin), and skin recovery (allantoin). In addition, Saccharomyces Cerevisiae (a species of yeast) refines the skin, fighting against skin’s oxidative stress. As the yeast goes through the fermentation process of Snail Secretion Filtrate, it enhances the concentration of the active ingredients so that they can be absorbed into the skin more effectively.
– Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Water: Having long been used as various folk remedies among Australian natives, tea tree leaf has been used as infection treatment for having an antibacterial effect. Also, tea tree leaf has skin calming & deodorizing properties. Tea tree has many benefits on skin, including skin soothing, hydrating, skin-protective, astringent, and anti-blemish effects.
– Dual Functionality of brightening & wrinkle care: Niacinamide for brightening. Adenosine for anti-wrinkle.
Well, as I can see from the ingredient list, I can say this serum contains a lot of natural healthy ingredients. Oh my god! Me likey!
I’d recommend this serum for those of you who have acne prone and oily skin! Because it has a very light texture which oily skin type would love and also it contains tea tree, snail and niacinamide which are very legit ingredients for acne prone skin type.

My experience
So, I’ve been using this for approximately 2 weeks, and I can say I am satisfied with serum because it slowly fades my acne scars, and I am really like my complexion now.
I also like the formula because it is a light weight serum, no sticky at all, and also no fragrance!
So “Is this serum worth your money?”
my answer is “YES IT IS!”
P.s Benton did send me the product for review purpose but don’t worries, my review stated above is 100% honest and came out from my own experience.
